Indication:
The indications of aspirin enteric coated tablets are as follows:
Reduce the risk of suspected patients with acute myocardial infarction
Prevention of recurrence of myocardial infarction
Secondary prevention of stroke

Reducing the risk of stable and unstable angina pectoris

Usage and dosage:  oral. Enteric coated tablets should be taken with proper amount of water before meals.
Reduce the risk of suspected patients with acute myocardial infarction: the first dose of 300mg is recommended to be chewed and taken for rapid absorption. After that, 100-200 mg per day.
Prevention of recurrence of myocardial infarction: 100-300 mg per day.
Secondary prevention of stroke: 100-300 mg per day.
Reduce the risk of transient ischemic attack (TIA) and secondary stroke: 100-300 mg per day.
Reduce the risk of stable and unstable angina: 100-300 mg per day.
After arterial surgery or intervention, such as percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA), coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), carotid endarterectomy, arteriovenous shunt: 100-300 mg per day.
Prevention of deep venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism after major surgery: 100-200 mg per day.
To reduce the risk of myocardial infarction in patients with cardiovascular risk factors (family history of coronary heart disease, diabetes, dyslipidemia, hypertension, obesity, smoking history, age over 50 years old): 100 mg per day.

Adverse reactions

1. After taking this product, hepatotoxicity is more common than other erythromycin preparations. After taking this product for several days or 1-2 weeks, patients may have fatigue, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, rash, fever, etc. Sometimes jaundice, liver function test showed cholestasis, often recovered after withdrawal.
2. Gastrointestinal reactions include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, upper and middle abdominal pain, tongue and mouth pain, hypogastria, etc.
3. High dose (≥ 4G / day) application, especially in patients with liver and kidney diseases or elderly patients, may cause hearing loss, which is mainly related to high blood concentration (] 12mg / L), and most of them can recover after drug withdrawal.
4. Allergic reactions were drug fever, rash, eosinophilia, etc. The incidence was about 0.5% - 1%.
5. Others: occasional arrhythmia, oral or vaginal Candida infection.

Taboo:
Aspirin enteric coated tablets are forbidden in the following cases:
·Allergic to aspirin or other salicylate, or any other component of the drug;
·History of asthma caused by salicylate or salicylic acid containing substances, non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs;
·Active peptic ulcer;
·Bleeding constitution;
·Severe renal failure;
·Severe liver failure;
·Severe heart failure;
·In combination with methotrexate (15 mg / week or more) (see drug interactions);
·The last three months of pregnancy

Matters needing attention:
Caution should be taken when using aspirin in the following cases:
·Allergy to painkillers, anti-inflammatory drugs, anti rheumatic drugs, or other allergic reactions.
·The history of gastric and duodenal ulcer includes chronic ulcer, recurrent ulcer and gastrointestinal bleeding history.
·Use with anticoagulants (see drug interactions).
·Acetylsalicylic acid may further increase the risk of kidney damage and acute renal failure in patients with renal function or cardiovascular circulatory impairment (e.g., renal vascular disease, congestive heart failure, insufficient blood volume, major surgery, sepsis or serious bleeding events).
·For patients with severe glucose-6-certate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency, acetylsalicylic acid may induce hemolytic anemia in hemolytic adults. Factors that increase the risk of hemolysis, such as high dose, fever and acute infection.
·Liver function damage;
·Ibuprofen may interfere with the effect of aspirin enteric tablets. If the patient is in combination with aspirin and ibuprofen, consult a doctor.
·Aspirin can cause bronchospasm and cause asthma or other allergic reactions. Risk factors include asthma, pollen fever, nasal polyps, or chronic respiratory infections. This is also applicable to patients who have allergic reactions to other substances (such as skin reactions, itching, rubella).
·Because aspirin can inhibit platelet aggregation for several days, it may lead to increased bleeding during or after surgery.
·Low dose aspirin reduces the elimination of uric acid, which can induce gout.

Medication for pregnant and lactating women:

In several retrospective epidemiological studies, the use of salicylate in the first three months of pregnancy may be associated with an increased risk of deformity (jaw crack, heart malformation). However, the available data are insufficient to assess the possibility of deformity when aspirin is used in long-term treatment (dose greater than 150mg/ day). The risk was reduced at the dose of routine treatment. In a prospective study of 32000 mothers and children, no increased risk of deformity was shown.
Pregnant women should weigh the advantages and disadvantages carefully before taking salicylic acid; as a preventive measure, the dosage of long-term treatment should not exceed 150mg/ day as far as possible. In the last three months of pregnancy, high-dose aspirin (more than 300mg/ day) may lead to prolonged pregnancy, suppression of contraction of the mother's uterus and fetal cardiopulmonary toxicity (e.g. early closure of the artery catheter).
In addition, the risk of bleeding increased for mothers and foetus.
Short term aspirin administration before delivery can cause intracranial hemorrhage in the fetus, especially in premature infants. Therefore, all aspirin containing drugs are prohibited in women in the last three months of pregnancy unless they are used in cardiovascular and obstetrics with the most limited application under the correct clinical expert's advice and close monitoring.
Lactating women
Salicylate and degradation products can enter breast milk in a small amount.
