Indication: For schizophrenia or mania, intramuscular injection: 25-50mg (1-2), twice a day, to be changed to oral after the cooperation of patients. Adverse reactions 1. Common dry mouth, epigastric discomfort, lack of appetite, fatigue and drowsiness.
2. It can cause postural hypotension, palpitation or ECG changes.
3. Extrapyramidal reactions such as tremor, rigidity, salivation, bradykinesia, akathisia and acute dystonia may occur.
4. Long term and large amount of medication can cause tardive dyskinesia.
5. It can cause the increase of prolactin concentration in plasma. The possible related symptoms are: galactorrhea, male feminized breast, menstrual disorder, amenorrhea.
6. It can cause local swelling, pain and induration.
7. It can cause toxic liver damage or obstructive jaundice.
8. Rare myelosuppression.
9. Occasionally it can cause epilepsy, allergic rash, exfoliative dermatitis and malignant syndrome.
Taboo: Patients with basal ganglia disease, Parkinson's disease, Parkinson's syndrome, myelosuppression, glaucoma, coma and allergy to phenothiazines.
Matters needing attention: 1. Patients with cardiovascular diseases (such as heart failure, myocardial infarction, abnormal conduction) should be cautious.
2. In case of tardive dyskinesia, all antipsychotics should be stopped.
3. In case of allergic rash and malignant syndrome, the drug should be stopped immediately and the corresponding treatment should be carried out.
4. Patients with orthostatic hypotension should be bedridden. If the blood pressure is too low, norepinephrine can be infused intravenously. Epinephrine is forbidden.
5. The patients with liver and kidney dysfunction should be reduced.
6. Patients with epilepsy should be cautious.
7. Liver function and white blood cell count should be checked regularly.
8. The effect on vomiting caused by motion sickness is poor.
9. It is not suitable to drive vehicles, operate machinery or work at height during medication.
10. It is forbidden to use when the color of the product becomes dark or has precipitation.
11. This product is not suitable for subcutaneous injection. Intravenous injection may cause thrombophlebitis. It should be diluted and injected slowly.
12. It is not suitable for the mental disorder with consciousness disorder.
Medication for pregnant and lactating women: Pregnant women should be cautious. Lactating women stop breastfeeding during the use of this product
