Usage and dosage orally. 3 months to 1 year old: 1/3 to 1/2 bag at a time; 1-5 years old: 1 bag at a time; 5-8 years old: 1.5-2 bags at a time. Once a day or as directed by your doctor. Take warm boiled water.

Side effects 1. Allergic reactions are common, which can be manifested as drug eruption. In severe cases, erythema multiforme exudative, dermatitis exfoliative and epidermolytic atrophic dermatitis bullous may occur. Also have performance for photosensitive reaction, drug heat, joint and muscle pain, fever and other serum disease like reaction. Occasionally anaphylactic shock. 2. Neutropenia or deficiency, thrombocytopenia and aplastic anemia. Patients may present with sore throat, fever, pallor, and a bleeding tendency. Hemolytic anemia and hemoglobinuria. This is more common in newborns and children than in adults after sulfonamides are used in patients with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency. Hyperbilirubinemia and neonatal nuclear jaundice. Because this product and bilirubin competition protein binding site, can cause free bilirubin increase. Neonatal liver function is not perfect, the treatment of bilirubin is poor, it is easy to produce high bilirubinemia and neonatal jaundice, occasionally can produce nuclear jaundice. 5. Liver damage. Jaundice, liver dysfunction and acute liver necrosis may occur in severe cases. 6. Kidney damage. Crystalline urine, hematuria, and tubular urine may occur. Severe adverse effects of interstitial nephritis or tubular necrosis were occasionally observed. 7. Nausea, vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, headache, fatigue, etc., the general symptoms are mild. Occasionally, patients develop C. difficile enteritis, at which point medication should be discontinued. 8. Goitre enlargement and hypofunction occur occasionally. 9. Toxic reactions of the central nervous system may occasionally occur and manifest as delirium, disorientation, hallucinations, euphoria, or depression. 10. Occasionally aseptic meningitis may occur, with headache, stiff neck, nausea and other manifestations. Severe adverse reactions caused by this product are rare, but often involve various organs and can be fatal, such as exudative erythema multiforme, exfoliative dermatitis, bullae epidermolytic atrophic dermatitis, fulminant hepatic necrosis, agranulocytosis, aplastic anemia and other blood system abnormalities. AIDS patients with the above adverse reactions are more common than non-AIDS patients.

Contraindication 1. It is contraindication for people allergic to SMZ and TMP. 2. Because this product prevents the metabolism of folic acid and aggravates the deficiency of folate in patients with megaloblastic anemia, it is contraband in patients with this disease. 3. Children younger than 2 months are prohibited. 4. Severe liver and kidney function impairment is contraband.

1. Because it is not easy to remove bacteria, it is not suitable to use this product for treatment or prevention of the following diseases: (1) the prevention or long-term treatment of otitis media. (2) Group A hemolytic streptococcus tonsillitis and pharyngitis. 2. Cross allergic reactions. Patients who are allergic to one sulfonamides may also be allergic to other sulfonamides. 3. Liver damage. Jaundice, liver dysfunction, and acute liver necrosis may occur in severe cases. Therefore, it should be avoided in patients with liver impairment. 4. Kidney damage. Crystal urine, hematuria and tubular urine may occur, so during taking this product, you should drink more water to maintain a high urine flow. If this product is used for a long course of treatment and a large dose, in addition to drinking more water, sodium bicarbonate should be taken together to prevent this adverse reaction. The application of this product in patients with loss of water and shock is likely to cause renal damage, so it should be used with caution or avoided. This product should not be used in patients with renal dysfunction. 5. Patients who are allergic to furosemide, sulfoxides, thiazide diuretics, sulfonylureas, and carbonic anhydrase inhibitors may also be allergic to sulfonamides. 6. The following conditions should be used with caution: glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, hematoporphyria, folate deficiency hematologic diseases, water loss, AIDS, shock patients. 7. Attention should be paid to examination during medication: (1). Complete blood examination is particularly important for patients with a long course of treatment, high dose, malnutrition and antiepileptic drugs. (2) During the treatment, regular urine examination (routine urine examination every 2 ~ 3 days) should be conducted to detect crystallinity urine that may occur during a long course of treatment or high dose treatment. (3) Liver and kidney function examination. 8. The concentration of free sulfonamides should be determined in the blood of severely infected patients. The concentration of free sulfonamides is 50 ~ 150μg/ mL for most infected patients (120 ~ 150μg/ mL for severely infected patients). The total sulfanilamide concentration should not exceed 200μg/ mL, such as exceeding this concentration, the incidence of adverse reactions increased. 9. Do not arbitrarily increase the dose, increase the number of medication or prolong the course of treatment to prevent accumulation of poisoning. 10. Because this product can inhibit the growth of Escherichia coli, hinder the synthesis of B vitamins in the intestine, so the use of this product for more than a week, should also give B vitamins to prevent its deficiency. 11. If folic acid deficiency is caused by taking this product, folic acid preparation can be taken at the same time. The latter does not interfere with the antimicrobial activity of TMP, as the synthesized folic acid cannot be utilized by bacteria. If there are signs of myelosuppression, stop using this product immediately and give folic acid 3 ~ 6mg intramuscular injection, once a day, use it for 2 days or as needed until the hematopoietic function returns to normal. For long-term and excessive use of this product, give high dose of folic acid and extend the course of treatment. Please read the instructions carefully and follow the doctor's advice.

Interaction 1. The combination of uretic alkalinizing drugs can increase the solubility of this product in alkaline urine and increase excretion. 2. Can not be used with p-aminobenzoic acid, p-aminobenzoic acid can be taken in place of this product by bacteria, the two antagonize each other. 3. When the following drugs are used together with this product, this product may replace the protein binding site of these drugs or inhibit their metabolism, resulting in prolonged duration of action or toxic reactions. Therefore, the dosage of these drugs should be adjusted when used together with or after the application of this product. These include oral anticoagulants, oral hypoglycemic agents, methotrexate, phenytoin sodium, and thiopental sodium. 4. Combined use with myelosuppressive drugs may enhance adverse reactions of such drugs to the hematopoietic system. For example, leucocyte, thrombocytopenia, etc., if there are indications that two drugs should be used together, the possible toxic reactions should be closely observed. 5. Combined with birth control pills (estrogen) for a long time can reduce the reliability of contraception and increase the chance of bleeding during menstruation. 6. When used in combination with thrombolytic drugs, their potential toxic effects may be increased. 7. When combined with hepatotoxic drugs, the incidence of hepatotoxicity may be increased. Liver function should be monitored in such patients, especially those who have been on medication for a long time and have a history of liver disease. 8. When combined with photosensitive drugs, the addition of photosensitive effects may occur. 9. Patients receiving this product have an increased need for vitamin K. 10. It is not suitable to use with Ulotropine, because Ulotropine can be decomposed in acidic urine to produce formaldehyde, which can form insoluble precipitate with this product, increasing the risk of crystallizing urine. 11. This product can replace the plasma protein binding site of butazone. When used together, the effect of butazone can be enhanced. 12. When used in combination with this product, it can reduce the secretion of the latter from the renal tubules, and the persistent increase of its blood concentration is prone to toxic reactions. Therefore, it may be necessary to adjust the dosage of this product during or after the application of this product. When the course of sulfonyrone is long, the blood concentration of this product should be monitored, so as to help the adjustment of dosage and ensure the safe use of medicine. 13. TMP in this product can inhibit the metabolism of warfarin and enhance its anticoagulant effect. 14. TMP in this product can enhance renal toxicity when used in combination with cyclosporine. 15. Rifampicin combined with this product can significantly increase the clearance of TMP in this product and eliminate the half-life of blood (t1/2?). Shortened. 16. It should not be used in combination with antitumor agents,2, 4-diaminopyrimidines, or between periods of treatment with other folate antagonists because of the potential for poor bone marrow regeneration or megaloblastic anemia. 17. Dapsone is not suitable to be used in combination with the TMP in this product because the blood concentration of both dapsone and the TMP in this product can be increased, and the increase of dapsone concentration will increase and aggravate adverse reactions, especially the occurrence of methemoglobinemia. 18. Avoid combination with penicillin drugs, as this product may interfere with the bactericidal action of such drugs.
