Indication:
1. This product is used as the first or selected drug for the following diseases.
(1) Rickettsia disease, including epidemic typhus, endemic typhus, Rocky Mountain fever, tsutsugamushi disease and Q fever.
(2) Mycoplasma infection.
(3) Chlamydia infections include psittacosis, venereal diseases, lymphadenoma, nonspecific urethritis, salpingitis, cervicitis and trachoma.
(4) Return to heat.
(5) Brucellosis.
(6) Cholera.
(7) Rabbit fever.
(8) plague.
(9) Chancre.
It is necessary to combine aminoglycosides in the treatment of brucellosis and plague.
2. Due to the serious drug resistance of common pathogenic bacteria to tetracyclines, it is only when the pathogenic bacteria are sensitive to this product that such drugs can be used. This product is also not suitable for the treatment of hemolytic streptococcal infection and any type of staphylococcal infection.
3. This product can be used for patients with tetanus, gas gangrene, Yasi, syphilis, gonorrhea, leptospirosis, actinomycetes and Listeria monocytogenes who are allergic to penicillins.

Usage and dosage:Oral administration:
The course of treatment is generally 7 ~ 14 days, and mycoplasma pneumonia and brucellosis take about 3 weeks.
(1) Common dosage for adults: 0.25 ~ 0.5g once, once every 6 hours.
(2) Common dosage for children over 8 years old: 25 ~ 50mg / kg a day, divided into 4 times.

Adverse reactions
1. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, epigastric discomfort, abdominal distension, diarrhea, etc. occasionally cause pancreatitis, and there are occasional reports of esophagitis and esophageal ulcer, mostly in patients who lie in bed immediately after taking medicine.
2. This product can cause hepatotoxicity, usually fatty liver degeneration. Pregnant women and patients with original renal function damage are prone to hepatotoxicity, but hepatotoxicity can also occur in patients without the above conditions.
3. Allergic reactions: most of them are maculopapular rash and erythema. A few patients can see the aggravation of urticaria, angioneuroedema, Henoch Schonlein purpura, pericarditis and systemic lupus erythematosus. Epidermal exfoliative dermatitis is not common. Anaphylactic shock and asthma occur occasionally. Some patients with tetracycline will have photosensitivity when exposed to the sun. Therefore, patients should be advised not to be directly exposed to sunlight or ultraviolet light during taking this product. Once the skin has erythema, stop the drug immediately.
4. Blood system: it can occasionally cause hemolytic anemia, thrombocytopenia, neutropenia and eosinophilia.
5. Central nervous system: occasionally, it can cause benign intracranial pressure increase, which can be manifested as headache, vomiting, optic nerve papilledema, etc.
6. Nephrotoxicity: Patients with original significant renal function impairment may have increased azotemia, hyperphosphatemia and acidosis.
7. Double infection: long term application of this product can cause gastrointestinal, respiratory and urinary tract infections caused by drug-resistant staphylococcus aureus, gram-negative bacilli and fungi, and severe cases can cause sepsis.
8. The application of tetracyclines can reduce the normal flora in the human body, resulting in vitamin deficiency, fungal reproduction, dry mouth, pharyngitis, angular stomatitis, glossitis, dark or discolored tongue coating, etc.

Taboo:
It is forbidden for those who are allergic to tetracycline drugs.

Matters needing attention:
1. Cross allergic reaction: those who are allergic to one tetracycline are allergic to other tetracyclines.
2. Interference to diagnosis
(1) When measuring the concentration of catechol amine in urine (hingerty method), the measurement results can be higher due to the interference of tetracycline on fluorescence.
(2) This product can increase the measured values of alkaline phosphatase, blood urea nitrogen, serum amylase, serum bilirubin and serum aminotransferase (AST, ALT).
3. During long-term medication, regular follow-up should be conducted to check blood routine and liver and kidney functions.
4. When using this product, you should drink enough (about 240ml) water to avoid esophageal ulcer and reduce gastrointestinal irritation.
5. This product should be taken orally on an empty stomach, i.e. 1 hour before meal or 2 hours after meal, so as to avoid the impact of food on absorption.
6. The following situations shall be used with caution or avoided.
(1) Because this product can cause liver damage, it is not suitable for patients with existing liver diseases.
(2) Because this product can aggravate azotemia, it is not suitable to use this kind of drug due to existing renal function damage. If there is an indication, it must be carefully considered and reduced according to the degree of renal function damage.
7. When treating venereal diseases, if spirochete infection is suspected at the same time, dark field microscopy and serological examination shall be performed before medication, and the latter shall be performed once a month, at least 4 times.

Medication for pregnant and lactating women:
This product can enter the fetus through the placental barrier and deposit in the calcium area of teeth and bones, causing fetal tooth discoloration, poor enamel regeneration and inhibiting fetal bone growth. This kind of drug has teratogenic effect in animal experiments, so it is not suitable for pregnant women. Pregnant women are particularly sensitive to the hepatotoxicity of tetracycline, and the use of such drugs should be avoided.
This product can be secreted from milk. The concentration in milk is high, which may have potential serious adverse reactions to infants. Lactation should be suspended for lactating women.
