Indication:
The indications are Streptococcus (except Enterococcus), pneumococcus, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Hantaan catarrhalis, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Serratia and Proteus. The following infections caused by cefixime sensitive bacteria in influenza bacteria are effective( 1) Acute attack of chronic bronchitis, acute bronchitis complicated with bacterial infection, bronchiectasis complicated with infection, pneumonia( 2) Pyelonephritis, cystitis and gonococcal urethritis( 3) Acute bacterial infection of biliary system (cholecystitis, cholangitis)( 4) Scarlet fever( 5) Otitis media, sinusitis.

Usage and dosage:Adults and children weighing more than 30 kg:
1 g, twice a day; In adult patients with severe infection, it can be increased to 0.2g twice a day.
Children:

Adverse reactions

Interstitial pneumonia and pie syndrome: there are some interstitial pneumonia with fever, cough, dyspnea, chest X-ray abnormality, eosinophil increase and other symptoms, and the pie syndrome (respectively < 0.1%) and so on. If the above symptoms occur, the drug should be stopped and glucocorticoid should be given properly;

Allergy: common rash, urticaria, erythema, rare pruritus, fever, swelling;
Blood: eosinophil increased in common (0.1-5%) and neutropenia was rare;
Liver: alt/gpt, ast/got and jaundice were rare;
Kidney: the increase of urea nitrogen (BUN) was rare;
Digestive system: diarrhea, stomach discomfort, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, chest burning, anorexia, abdominal fullness, constipation are common;

Vitamin deficiency: vitamin K deficiency (hypoprothrombin, bleeding tendency, etc.) is rare, vitamin B deficiency (glossitis, stomatitis, anorexia, neuritis, etc.);
Others: headache, dizziness.
