Taboo:
It is forbidden to be allergic to any tetracycline drugs or any component of this product.

Matters needing attention:
Special warning
Allergic / anaphylactoid reactions (including shock and death) associated with minocycline hydrochloride administration are rare.
Pregnant women taking minocycline hydrochloride, like other tetracycline antibiotics, can cause fetal toxicity. Tetracyclines can cause permanent discoloration of teeth (yellow gray brown) during tooth development (from late pregnancy, infancy to early childhood). This adverse reaction is more common in patients with long-term medication, but it also occurs in patients with repeated medication in a short period of time. At the same time, enamel hypoplasia was also reported. Tetracyclines should not be used during tooth development unless the benefits outweigh the risks.
General notes
1. Patients with liver and kidney dysfunction, esophageal obstruction, the elderly, oral malabsorption or inability to eat, and patients with deterioration of general condition (easily leading to vitamin K deficiency) should be cautious.
2. Due to vestibular toxicity, this product is no longer used as a therapeutic drug for Neisseria meningitidis carriers and Neisseria meningitidis infections.
3. People who are allergic to this product may also be allergic to other tetracyclines.
4. Patients taking minocycline hydrochloride should be very careful when driving or operating dangerous machinery. During minocycline hydrochloride treatment, side effects of central nervous system were reported, including dizziness, dizziness or vertigo. These symptoms may disappear during treatment, usually after withdrawal. As it can cause dizziness and fatigue, automobile drivers, operators engaged in dangerous machine operation and high altitude operation should avoid taking this product.
5. Other very rare serious events in the use of minocycline include Stevens Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis. If any of the above serious skin reactions are suspected, minocycline hydrochloride should be discontinued.
6. It has been reported that the use of tetracycline drugs may cause brain pseudotumor (benign intracranial hypertension), usually clinical manifestations are headache and blurred vision. When tetracycline is used in infants, there are also reports of fontanel protrusion. Although most of the above and other related symptoms disappear after drug withdrawal, permanent sequelae may still exist.
7. This product will cause esophageal ulcer when it remains in the esophagus and disintegrates, so you should drink more water, especially before going to bed.
8. When patients with acute Neisseria gonorrhoeae urethritis are suspected to have primary or secondary syphilis, they should usually have dark vision examination. When other types of syphilis are suspected, they should have serological examination every month for at least 4 months.
9. The dosage of severe renal insufficiency patients should be lower than the usual dosage. If long-term treatment is needed, the blood drug concentration should be monitored.
10. Liver and kidney function should be checked regularly during medication.
11. This product may cause photosensitive dermatitis. The patient should be informed that it can cause severe sunburn reaction during taking tetracycline drugs, so the sun should be avoided during medication.
12. Patients with liver function damage: it is reported that minocycline hydrochloride has hepatotoxicity; Therefore, it should be used cautiously in patients with liver dysfunction and in combination with other hepatotoxic drugs.
13. Patients with renal impairment: the anti anabolic effect of tetracyclines can cause the increase of blood and urine nitrogen levels. In patients with severe renal impairment, high serum levels of tetracyclines can lead to azotemia, hyperphosphatemia and acidosis. If there is renal damage, even the usual oral and injection dose can lead to excessive drug accumulation in the body and liver toxicity.
14. Interference to laboratory examination indexes:
(1) When determining the concentration of catecholamine in urine (hingerty method), the interference of this product on fluorescence may make the determination result on the high side.
(2) It may increase the determination values of alkaline phosphatase, serum amylase, serum bilirubin and serum aminotransferase (AST, ALT).
15. Laboratory monitoring: patients should have regular physical examination of various system functions, including hematopoietic system, renal function and liver function.
16. This product can be taken with food, milk or carbonated beverage.
17. Store at controlled room temperature (20 ºC ~ 25 ºC) (68 ºC ~ 77 ºC) to avoid light, humidity and overheating.

Medication for pregnant and lactating women:

Animal studies have shown that tetracyclines can pass through the placenta and can be found in fetal tissues, resulting in toxic effects on fetal development (usually associated with delayed bone development). Treatment in the early pregnancy of animals may show signs of embryo poisoning.
Minocycline hydrochloride, like other tetracycline antibiotics, can pass through the placenta and cause fetal damage in pregnant women. If you are taking minocycline hydrochloride during pregnancy or if you are pregnant while taking minocycline hydrochloride, you should inform the patient of the potential risks of the drug to the fetus.
The use of tetracyclines during tooth development (late pregnancy) can cause permanent discoloration of teeth. Enamel hypoplasia has also been reported.
Taking tetracyclines in the second three months of pregnancy can form stable calcium complexes in fetal bones. A decrease in fibula growth rate was observed in immature infants treated with tetracyclines (25 mg / kg every 6 hours). The change of fibula growth rate could be recovered after drug withdrawal.
In the post marketing clinical experience reports, there are congenital malformations, including the occurrence of limb reduction.
Minocycline hydrochloride can be secreted in human milk; Therefore, it should be decided whether to stop breastfeeding or drug use.
